The Curaçao Court of First Instance ordered Parimatch to pay $19,630. The casino took the player’s money without proving any rule breach. The player, Anatoli Kasilo, faced accusations of multi-accounting. However, Parimatch could not show proof. The judgment was made in March 2023 but published only in September 2025. A player group, the Foundation for the Advocation of Victims of Online Gambling (SBGOK), supported Kasilo. The court noted that using different IP addresses was normal due to dynamic IPs in Belarus. Also, the court said Parimatch’s terms and conditions were not clear or properly shown to players.

Curaçao Court Ruling: Parimatch and Cyberluck Both Liable

The court held Parimatch’s operator Suncast Furore NV and former master license holder Cyberluck Curaçao NV responsible together. Even if Cyberluck outsourced to Suncast, it cannot ignore its legal duties. The court said Cyberluck cannot dodge responsibility by claiming a limited supervisory role. The ruling stressed Curaçao’s laws aim to protect players and uphold licensing integrity. Cyberluck and Parimatch act closely, so both must answer for mistakes.

Impact for Online Casinos and Players

This ruling sends a strong message to online casinos. They must have clear evidence before taking player funds. License holders cannot avoid responsibilities through contracts. Player protection is key in Curaçao’s gambling laws. Groups like SBGOK play a big role in standing up for players.
