Bragg Gaming has confirmed a cybersecurity incident on 16 August 2025. The issue was detected early in the morning. The company reacted fast and hired independent experts to investigate.

According to their first findings, the breach stayed inside Bragg’s internal systems. No customer or partner data was touched. All services continue to run as normal, and no disruptions were reported.

Rising iGaming Security Risks

Cyberattacks are nothing new in the iGaming industry. Just last year, MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment suffered major security breaches. These cases show how even giant operators face constant threats.

In November 2024, Kewadin Casinos also had to recover from a cybersecurity issue. Soon after, IGT began its own investigation into unauthorized system access. Clearly, these events prove how important strong protection has become.

For players and business partners, this means companies must invest more in safe systems. To read more updates, check our dedicated iGaming News section.

Bragg Gaming’s Next Moves

The timing of this incident is notable. It comes after Bragg’s positive Q2 results, which showed a 5% revenue rise to €26.1m. At the same time, Bragg expanded in the U.S. through a deal with Fanatics Casino. Their games are now live in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
