Sportech Strengthens Board with Three Senior Appointments
Sportech has expanded its Board of Directors by appointing Victor Bigio, Stephen Castagna, and Mike Burris to bolster its leadership team. These new directors bring valuable expertise in iGaming, sports betting, and financial management, which will support the company’s growth and stability.
Board Appointment Details
Mike Burris has been Sportech’s Sports Betting Manager since sports wagering was legalized in the US. He has pushed forward the company’s retail betting technology in Connecticut and aims to innovate customer solutions by anticipating industry trends.
Victor Bigio joins as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He has over 20 years of experience in iGaming and sports betting, including roles at Sportradar where he was key in product development and market strategies. Bigio also offers consultancy services focusing on compliance and regulated market entry in North America.
Stephen Castagna, previously Sportech’s Group Finance Manager for six years, is now a Board member. He strengthened the company’s financial operations and will help steer Sportech toward long-term financial sustainability.

Richard McGuire, Sportech’s Executive Chairman, said that these appointments show Sportech’s commitment to building a world-class leadership team.
